Community Market Program
Welcome to the Merri Community Shed Market Program — a friendly hub for local makers, growers, recyclers and community groups. Our markets are all about connection: discovering great stalls, meeting neighbours, and supporting community-led ideas. Whether you’re hunting for handmade goods or just a good chat, you’re in the right place.
Keen to get involved? If you’d like to trade, submit an Expression of Interest via the Stallholder EOI page. If helping behind the scenes is more your style, put your hand up on the Volunteering page. Community organisations can learn how to participate through our Not-For-Profits Program. And if you’re planning your visit, check dates and details on our Facebook Events for upcoming markets. Use the links below to choose your path — we can’t wait to see you at the next market.
August 2026 Market
Step into the warmth of our August Community Market at Merri Community Shed on Sunday 30 August, 11am–3pm.
As winter begins to soften and spring waits just around the corner, we’re gathering local makers, growers, collectors and creatives for a community market full of thoughtful finds, friendly faces and little treasures.
Wander the stalls and discover beautiful things just in time for Father’s Day — handmade gifts, plants, preserves, baked treats, woodwork, art, craft, vintage finds, bric-a-brac, homewares and other one-of-a-kind surprises from our wonderful stallholders.
It’s also the perfect moment to pick up plants from Coburg Common and bring a little spring home with you — ready for fresh garden plans, balcony pots, veggie patches and the first bright days of the new season.
This market is part of our fundraising program for Merri Community Shed, helping us keep the Shed active, welcoming and accessible for the community. Every visit, stall booking, purchase and bit of support helps us continue creating a place where people can connect, make, learn, repair, share skills and belong.
Bring your family, invite a friend, support local stallholders and enjoy a relaxed Sunday market with heart.
