Bring a favourite visual prompt—photos, magazine cut-outs, sketches—or dive into the stack we’ll have ready on the table.
We’ll supply all materials and guide you through simple, confidence-building steps to create a playful, expressive collage. Expect hands-on making, gentle prompts, and plenty of room to follow your own ideas. It’s storytelling from the heart, built layer by layer—no experience required.
If art and paint sound like your cup of tea, you’re in the right place (yes, the kettle will be on). The aim is easy, social creativity—and enough fun that you’ll want to come back. These pop-ups are the start of a regular workshop series.
What we provide
- All collage and mixed-media materials
- Guidance and creative prompts
- A relaxed, welcoming space
What to bring
- A water bottle
- A smock or apron (things may get gloriously messy)
P.S. If collage isn’t your thing, there’ll be other creative options on the menu—choose your own adventure.
A short BIO on Flipperfrog (AKA Bek & Jayne)
Jayne is a socially engaged artist. Gifted the chance to reemerge from the rich world of academia. I hope to draw (literally and figuratively) on my experience to engage in and with the creative world and those that inhabit it to explore belonging and purpose. Now I have time to devote to art. I hope to share the joy it brings me with you.
Bek (Gotellart) is intuitive artist influenced by nature’s bountiful landscapes. My own inner landscape is absorbed by all what I see and feel. Natures colours and costal bracken manifest into my mark making. I really enjoy a mixed media approach, using retro motifs with collage to infuse my mostly acrylic paints.
